About Gemma Whitchurch

Gemma is a senior associate in our Family Law team.

Gemma qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has practised exclusively in family law since specialising in both financial remedy and children’s law.

Gemma's expertise spans a range of complex issues, including child arrangements and relocation cases. She is highly experienced in handling sensitive situations involving domestic abuse, ensuring the safety and well-being of her clients and their children. She is also adept at managing prohibited steps and specific issue orders, providing comprehensive legal guidance to navigate these challenging areas.

Gemma also specialises in handling complex high net-worth matters alongside trickier low-level asset positions. Gemma understands the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds and tailors her approach to provide invaluable support and guidance to her clients.

Gemma is a member of Resolution and sits on the West Midlands Resolution Committee.

Gemma is also recognised in the Legal 500 directory. In her spare time, Gemma loves camping holidays in Cornwall with her two daughters, and can apparently, bake a mean cookie which makes her an invaluable member of the school’s PTA.
