Judi is a senior solicitor in the private client team.
She gives analytical and supportive legal advice in a sensitive and practical way. She tries to ensure that a solution may be found that keeps the wellbeing of the family as the focus throughout the process.
Judi is a specialist family lawyer dealing predominately with:
- financial consequences of separation and divorce following relationship breakdown, ranging from couples who have relatively modest assets to high net worth individuals and dealing with family business and company issues.
- divorce and separation agreements
- children’s issues to include with whom a child should live and how and when they should spend time with the other parent.
- living together agreements
- Pre and post nuptial agreements
Judi also has a specialist interest in resolving issues following separation ,within the collaborative process. As a very experienced collaborative lawyer Judi’s approach is aimed at finding solutions that have the benefit of impacting the family in a positive way during this emotionally difficult period of their lives to ensure that where possible, and it usually is, they are able to continue to focus on the children and grand-children in years to come in a positive and therefore beneficial way for all.
Judi also brings considerable experience within the educational sector as a Director of local academies and specialist safeguarding and SEN governor. Family breakdown can place additional pressures on parents and children that are highlighted within the school day. Therefore, Judi’s unique additional experience in this sector can assist in finding solutions that may ease the pressure for the family at this emotional challenging and difficult time.
