About Marta Konieczna
Marta is a Senior Associate in our Conveyancing team. She qualified as a solicitor in February 2015 and gained experience in the area of probate and residential conveyancing. Marta moved to Solihull in 2017, previously being based in Maidstone, Kent.
Marta deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of freehold and leasehold properties.
Marta has experience in purchasing new builds, freehold and leaseholds, transfers of part and first registration of a piece of land.
Awards and Recognition
Won a Fairweather Award in 2011 for active contribution to the Kent Law Clinic helping with the right of way cases, employment and family matters.
Career History
After her law degree at the University of Kent, Marta worked as a paralegal in a Criminal Department, mainly dealing with prison law.
In 2013 she was offered a training contract in a High Street firm in Kent where she gained experience in residential conveyancing and private clients, but decided to specialise in residential conveyancing solely.
Marta has worked for respected firms in Kent for five years and moved to West Midlands in November 2019 to work with Sydney Mitchell. In May 2023 was promoted to Senior Associate.

Interests and Hobbies
In her spare time, Marta enjoys spending time with her daughter and her husband, as well as visiting National Trust places. Marta also likes running ... slowly!
