Restructuring of a group or business can take make forms. It may involve, for example,   the putting in place of a new holding company or group structure to separate or protect divisions or assets of a business into different subsidiaries.

It may be for the purpose of facilitating a sale or a demerger or to divide ownership of different elements of the business.
