Applying for a UK settlement visa from abroad can be a complicated process. The Home Office have recently introduced a new system for applications and announced changes to the way in which supporting documents are to be provided.
The forms are not straight forward and the system does not allow Applicants to proceed without entering information for each section. Answers must be accurate and individuals must be completely honest in their applications.
Entry Clearance Officers apply the rules and requirements very strictly, so it is imperative that in any application made one can clearly show how each requirement of the rules is met. It is also vital that the specified evidence has been provided for each category and that the evidence is in the correct format.

If an application is granted the Applicant will have a short 30 day visa stamped in their passport to enable them to travel to the UK and once arrived they will need to collect their 30 month visa from a designated Post Office.
