We’re delighted to announce that Karen Moores, Senior Partner and joint head of Sydney Mitchell’s Family team has been shortlisted for the Professional Services Leader of the Year at the 2025 Business Desk West Midlands Leadership Awards.
These awards bring together the West Midlands business community to celebrate the best in business leadership on Thursday 13 March 2025 at The Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham. Karen has been shortlisted alongside fellow leaders in professional services at BRI Wealth Management, Women with Metal, Shakespeare Martineau and Black Country Chamber of Commerce.
Karen made Sydney Mitchell history by becoming the firm’s first female senior partner after being a partner at the firm since 1998. In addition to her responsibilities as Senior Partner, Karen remains actively involved in her fee-earning role, co-leading Sydney Mitchell’s family team alongside partner Mauro Vinti. As one of the firm’s top fee earners, Karen consistently surpasses targets demonstrating significant success in her field, with most of her clients coming from professional recommendations and referrals from previous clients.
