Sydney Mitchell celebrated one of their employees achieving 40 years with the firm.
Pamela Moss joined Sydney Mitchell on 7th April 1984 when Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister and in full battle with the miners, Lionel Richie was top of the pops with “Hello” and Ghostbusters was the top grossing film of 1984. Facsimile was the latest cutting-edge technology and there was no email, internet (which came 9 years later) or personal computers.
Pam is now looking forward to celebrating 50 years with the firm but that will be a few years off yet!
